Tyrone "TAI LYVE" Harris, Jr., was born in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 20, 1981, before making Virginia his home in 1985.  With an early interest in music, TAI began producing beats and writing lyrics while in high school.  He attented Virginia State University, during which time he provided freelance audio work for the Department of the U.S. Army.  During this period, he was also honing his engineering and sound tracking skills as an intern for New Millenium Studios in his hometown of Petersburg, Virginia.

 

As a producer, TAI LYVE's sound varies from dirty south crunk music, alternative rock-n-soul, to futuristic Hip Hop/R&B.  His original and sampled music represents the past, present, and future.

 

As an artist, TAI shifts gears with a country twang, to speedballin cadence and energy, while maintaining mass appeal.

 

At a TAI LYVE show, expect a non-stop party with club bangers, street anthems, and feel good music, that will make you bounce, thow your sets up or do the "2 step".
